**The Company**
Based in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs this is a great opportunity for a motivated and hands on AR professional who is looking for a supervisory position and further develop their skills within a large and renowned global company.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Supervising and providing support to the Accounts Receivable Officer
- Monitoring customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, irregularities
- Processing EFT receipts from customers in Oracle.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries.
- Liaise with customers on overdue debt
- Investigate unallocated payments
- Calculate and record Accruals for claims not processed.
- Month-end reconciliations and closures
- Prepare credit reports to HQ.
- Supervise customer credit / claims process
- Assisting the Head of Finance in ensuring internal controls are being met
**Preferred Experience**:
The successful applicant ideally will have:
- 5+ years in AR with some leadership experience
- Ability to work autonomously & drive standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Negotiation & rapport building
- Proven ability to manage/coach/lead staff
- Strong planning & time management
