**About Our Client**:
Operating in the mining and resources sector, our client is a large, ASX listed business. They are currently undergoing a significant growth period hence the release of this newly created role. They have a fun, flexible, supportive & collaborative payroll team and offer employees significant opportunities for internal career progression.

Reporting into the Payroll Compliance Lead, your role will include:

- Assist in driving payroll governance and compliance to support identification and resolution of payroll risks and issues
- Proactively seek and share payroll related legislative and policy changes and educate the rest of the team
- Explore and seek continuous improvement opportunities relating to payroll compliance
- Assist with developing and executing internal Compliance program of works ffor BAU payroll
- Implement and/or formalise payroll governance controls
- Assist with payroll audit requirements
- Other ad hoc tasks

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Ability to interpret and understand relevant industrial awards and agreements
- Advanced problem solving capability with a critical thinking approach
- Experience in large organisations
