**About the role**

Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic & friendly library assistant to join their passionate library team servicing local residents within the City of Canada Bay local government area.

Using your outstanding customer service skills you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to customers, ensuring enquiries are effectively addressed and any problems resolved.

**About the person**

With your demonstrated people skills you will support library and specialist staff in the provision of library services including circulation, administration, promotion and outreach.

To be successful in this position you will require a HSC (or equivalent), as well as demonstrated experience in providing circulation and information services in public libraries. The ability to work evening and weekend work is essential. With well-developed communication and interpersonal skills you will also demonstrate commitment to quality customer service in a busy library environment.
