Here at 27 Blair we are a young and flourishing team that prides ourselves on high-quality coffee, food, drinks and service. We are building a company based around sustainability - community engagement, environmentally and with our people.

We have a role available for a barista that can support us to open the cafe 3 times a week. The person must be capable and with a good level of coffee knowledge, and able to work alone without coffee training (other than specific to this location).

The following are the responsibilities this person would take on:

- welcoming customers, taking their orders and handling payments
- describing the differences in coffee beans and roasts to customers
- grinding coffee using a coffee grinder and adjusting the grinder as needed
- preparing espresso-based coffee drinks, such as long black, flat white, latte and cappuccino, with latte art
- preparing other beverages, including tea, hot chocolate and frozen drinks
- keeping coffee-making equipment and area clean throughout the day and following a procedure to thoroughly clean the equipment at the end of the day
- replenishing shelves and fridges with items such as baked goods, snacks and bottled drinks
- training new employees on how to operate equipment and prepare different drinks

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 18 per week
