If you are a quick and organized **BARISTA**, we would love you to be part of our team at Shuk Falafel. This is a full time position for up to 38 hours

**Some of the responsibilities we expect from you**:

- Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
- Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
- Packaging food and beverages for sale.
- Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
- Helping the cooks in the toaster and fryers when necessary.
- Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

**You will need**:

- At least 6 months of experience as a barista is required.
- The ability to multi-task and work quickly, efficiently and safely.
- Strong communication, teamworking, and customer service skills.
- Honest and reliable
- Willingness to learn, share and have fun with our lovely and collaborative team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
