Head Barista

We’re on the lookout for Sydney’s best baristas to head up our Bondi Beach flagship cafe.

In addition to primo coffee skills and latte art, we’re looking for fun, talented legends who live and breathe coffee. Our cafe has a great vibe so we’re looking for the right barista with a great attitude to enhance the overall coffee experience for our customers.

The role goes beyond pumping out exceptional coffee to the local Bondi community with scope to get involved in much more including training, alternative brewing, bev development, roasting and more.

**The Role**

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Making espresso-based beverages with exceptional latte art
- Delivering the best customer experience - must be friendly and accommodating
- Educating customers on the Will & Co brand, our coffee and retail products
- Maintaining cafe inventory, ordering and staffing
- Preparing alternative brew coffee (pour overs, batch, cold brew)
- Maintaining retail inventory (replenish sellable retail products) i.e. crockery, merch, equipment

What we’re looking for:

- Minimum of 4 year’s experience as a barista
- Exceptional customer service, a positive attitude and very personable - this one is important
- Ability to perform under pressure in a high paced environment
- Good coffee and equipment knowledge with a willingness to learn
- Ability to produce amazing latte art
- Super reliable with great organisational skills

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bondi Beach, NSW 2026: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Barista: 4 years (required)
- Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
