**The City of Melville has an exciting opportunity for passionate Health Club Instructors.** We are seeking talented individuals to provide safe and motivating health club programs and appraisals to the community.
In this role, individuals will be required to prepare and deliver health club programs to children aged from 8 years old (specifically Teen Fit, Youth Fit and/or Dance Fit), as well promoting and encouraging safe use of LeisureFit facilities.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Demonstrated experience instructing kids fitness classes.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing kids fitness programs.
- Demonstrated experience in the safe operation of fitness equipment.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Sound interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Current Applied First Aid Certificate.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Fitness (Gym Instructor or Personal Trainer) or Tertiary equivalent.
- For Dance Fit, relevant experience within a dance teaching environment is satisfactory.
- Current Working with Children Check.
