Based in Brisbane, your role will oversee three recently acquired firms (with a view to increasing in the next 1-2 years) who provide end to end certified Accounting services including tax, audit, advisory and accounting solutions.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position of Group General Manager will have the primary purpose of overseeing the accounting business unit function whilst having a secondary role of managing their own client portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- A mix of compliance, business and operational advisory work and mentoring staff.
- Provide input on business strategy.
- General management of three accounting firms
- Manage forecasted revenues against variances and budget.
- Provide regular reports on achievements, setbacks, mitigation.
- Drive and report on continuous improvement activities and derived efficiencies.
- Mentor, coach and develop staff.
- Client portfolio management.
- Manage and introduce effective client relationships with key stakeholders.

**About You**:

- At least 5 years’ experience in Australian public practice managing business services client portfolios.
- CPA or CA qualification.
- Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or a Bachelor of Business (majoring Accounting).
- Full work rights in Australia.
