**TEAM LEADER WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATIONS**

**Permanent Full Time Opportunity**
**Salary ranges from $64,882.48 to $75,263.76 p.a. with 10.5% superannuation**

**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **Team Leader Weighbridge Operations **to join our team at Council.

The Team Leader Weighbridge Operations:

- is responsible for organising,mentoring and training up the weigh bridge operator team
- is responsible for the operation of the Resource Recovery Centre (RRC) weighbridge including associated software, daily cash handling and end of day balancing and providing advice to customers and phone enquiries
- is also required to assist with outdoor operational tasks identified by the Coordinator Waste Services

Located in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, 1.5 hours south-west of Sydney - Wingecarribee Shire Council is working to create and nurture a vibrant & diverse community in harmony with the region's urban, agricultural and natural environments.

**Selection Criteria**
- Minimum Certificate III in an associated field or equivalent demonstrated experience in weighbridge operations
- Demonstrated data entry administrative in an accurate and timely manner
- Well-developed and demonstrated computer skills and literacy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of customers and employees
- Practical experience in dealing with challenging situations
- Demonstrated sound cash handling, banking skills and retail experience
- Practical experience in the use of two-way communication devices to deliver messages

**Desirable**
- Demonstrated knowledge of a commercial and residential waste and recycling business environment
- Statement of Attainment for cash handling
- Experience in the use of Mandalay weighbridge software
