**About our opportunities.....**
We have an opportunity for a two (2) Risk and Compliance Managers based in Canberra.
The Risk and Compliance Manager is responsible for developing WHS policy and procedures and implementing and monitoring compliance of Client assets with relevant Australian Standards and codes of practice and the lawful requirements of any authority and managing risk for our clients and Evolve FM as a whole. This includes managing compliance with federal, state, and local environment health and safety regulations and monitoring local contractors’ compliance. This role will also assist with the management of Workcover cases including suitable duties and overseeing return to work processes.
**Major responsibilities include**:
- Update and maintain the agreed Risk Register for proactive and reactive maintenance activities. Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts
- Ensure Local Contractors meet the Local Contract, manage WHS Legislation and Client requirements.
- Ensure Evolve FM has up to date WHS policy and procedures in place and that all staff are inducted and aware of their WHS obligations.
- Manage Workcover cases in conjunction with People and Culture to ensure the safety of Evolve FM staff including suitable duties and return to work processes.

- Experience in Work Health and Safety and a minimum of five (5) years experience in a related role.
- Relevant risk qualifications
- Experience working in an FM environment
- Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts
- A good understanding of building systems and services
- Have a clearance to work with Children in NSW or ability to obtain one.
