We are looking for a highly motivated Business Systems Specialist to join a local council in Sydney, for a contract period of 6 months.

**The Opportunity: Be a Systems Superhero**
In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's Leisure Services department. You'll be the go-to person for all things business systems, ensuring their smooth operation and driving continuous improvement.

**Do you have**:

- Experience working in local government
- Experience in project management
- Demonstrated strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to follow procedures and resolve exceptions.
- Report Writing Skills
- Business Process Mapping Skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to design and document software solutions.
- Exceptional ability to communicate, negotiate, build relationships and influence others with an engaging approach and technique.

**Here's what you'll do**:

- Act as a specialist/superuser for Leisure Services business systems.
- Train and induct new users, maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and conduct regular reviews for ongoing optimisation.
- Lead small projects, generate insightful business systems reports, and champion innovation within the department.
