We are looking for a Property Portfolio Manager to join our Sydney based property team reporting into our GM Workplace Services. The role is to provide leadership and strategic direction, to achieve strategic planning objectives, specified project outcomes, improved performance for occupancy planning, facility management and lease management.

This role will best suit someone who is proactive, a go getter, who is solutions orientated and make things happen.

**Responsibilities in the role**:

- Develop strategic asset plans for each Allianz location, optimising financial return and workplace outcomes.
- Develop a strategic and governance framework for the delivery of the property Lease function, acquisition and divestments.
- Drive and oversee the performance of the facility management operations including, but not limited to, maintenance services, safety, business risk and continuity management strategies.
- Develop initiatives, targets and KPIs to support performance improvement in environmental and sustainability practice.
- Develop of financial modelling and feasibility studies to support recommendations and budget assumptions.
- Lead a program of change and reform to achieve improved benefits, efficiencies, and quality outcomes within the property portfolio.
- Develop business cases, communications, documents, and plans for submissions for Executive and Board approval.
- Develop annual budget plans and quarterly reforecasts and establish, manage, and report on financial status of the commercial leases and facilities maintenances costs.
- Develop and implement agreed performance goals, standards, and measures to inform business, for Lease, acquisitions, and divestment reporting.
- Develop written policy, procedures, standards and process directions to effectively ensure compliance with probity, service delivery, environmental, Work Health and Safety (WHS) and other legislative requirements.
- Continuously focus on identifying and implementation of operational improvements

**Important to your success**:

- You’ll have significant experience in a similar role where you’ve had a strategic focus, and been responsible for developing strategic frameworks, occupancy planning, leasing negotiation, and had oversight of facilities or workplace services management.
- You’ll have demonstrated strategic planning skills and commercial acumen applied to leasing, property acquisition and divestments.
- Qualifications in or relevant significant experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, intermediaries, and service providers.
- Demonstrated evidence of successfully leading and delivering projects within time, budget and resource constraints and sustaining outcomes.
- You’ll have previously managed a team of people
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of statutory legislation pertaining to lease accounting methods.
- Ability to handle competing and evolving priorities, navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Experience developing, implementing, and driving sustainability initiatives.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact, and influence.
