**Finance Officer - Part time with flexible hours (2-3 days per week)**

**Role Description**

With business fast growing, our team is now looking for someone who can oversee the whole accounting process and ensure compliance and quality of the books.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous and committed to understanding our operations for the purpose of building up the most efficient and reliable accounts procedures.

You will first be required to work in the office for the initial stages and then depending on how you are familiar with the business and procedures, we can discuss on WFH options. We’re more than happy to make flexible arrangements for the right person.

**What you will be doing**:

- Process bank transactions and reconcile monthly.
- Process and reconcile multiple petty cash cards on a weekly basis
- Ensure bills/invoices are attached to all petty cash or staff reimbursement entries
- Maintain asset register and ensure easy access to purchase/financing records
- Process regular suppliers’ bills into accounting software and perform fortnightly/monthly creditors payment runs
- Invoicing customers in a timely manner and ensure invoices are paid on time
- Payroll reconciliations. We have someone to process the timesheets and payruns. Your role is to check its correctness and completeness, and then finalise the pay run with supporting reports.
- Regularly review detailed ledgers to ensure correct allocation of accounts and GST codes. You will need to make sense of each B/S or P&L account’s balance and movements.
- Work closely with our team and external accountant to facilitate the best practice
- Assist in other areas of accounts to always ensure coverage.

**Your profile and experience**:

- Existing and fully completed Accounting qualifications are highly regarded
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills, advanced skills in Excel
- Well-experienced in using MYOB AccountRight and Xero
- Excellent communications skills and keen to deliver and improve
- Ability to prioritise with excellent time management skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: From $45.00 per hour
