**Your new role**
- Lead policy development
- Developing and delivering policy and program advice, the preparation of high-quality written briefs and other materials
- Participate and represent the Section/Department in forums and working groups;
- Co-ordinate and prepare Departmental inputs and responses;
- Plan, prioritise and monitor a program of activities
- Assist with grant and procurement management
- Manage and build the capabilities of a small subsection to deliver high quality outcomes; and
- Contribute positively to team management and corporate responsibilities including the development and maintenance of productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
- Highly developed strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, strategic thinking and analysis skills,
- Research skills;
- Coordination/project management skills
- Team building and mentoring skills
- Ability to manage change and prioritise.
