**Commercial & Risk Manager**

Citywide are recruiting for a **Commercial & Risk Manager** to manage and deliver all audit and risk management requirements for the Group. In this role you will be accountable for Group Risk Management Framework, Group Internal Audits, Group Insurance programs and claims handling, as well as overseeing strategic projects.

**Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Review and maintain the Group Risk Management Framework, including the Strategic Risk Register, and Risk Management tools for Business Units and Contracts, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the organisation
- Develop and implement tools to improve risk identification and mitigation skills within the business
- Manage the internal audit function, including liaison with Internal Auditors, establishing and implementing Audit Scopes, finalisation of Audit Findings, follow up, tracking and reporting on Audit Actions
- Manage the annual insurance program and oversee the management and resolution of insurance claims, including regular meaningful reporting to the Executive and SRS Committee
- Prepare and deliver metrics and reports on risk, assurance, insurance and strategic projects, including to key governance forums including the Executive Committee, SRS Committee and AFC Committee
- Assist with the implementation of key strategic projects as directed by the Executive - Assurance, Risk & Governance
- Assist with carrying out investigations of major incidents or allegations, where required
- Proactively manage a strong working relationship with the shareholder on matters relating to audit, risk and assurance
- Assist with preparing reports to the shareholder
- Ensure all business metrics and targets are known, understood and where appropriate communicated to others in order to meet budget targets;
- Provide leadership and management to the employees within areas of accountability

**Skills and qualifications required**:

- Previous experience in audit/assurance/risk management in a major corporate or professional services domain
- Proven ability in Project Management
- Experience in developing and implementing governance, risk management or assurance programs
- Exposure to Insurance (preferred)
- Exposure to Auditing (preferred)
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to communicate with all levels within the organisation
