The Opportunity
The product manager for Multi-asset & Goals Strategies will support the Senior Product Owner and be responsible for contributing to product development and management for Multi-asset & Goals funds. The role will be required to co-ordinate and contribute to various cross functional teams for delivery. This role will also be a product contact for our strategic partners/clients.

Main focus areas
- Contribute to, and execute on product strategy for Multi-asset & Goals strategies, developing and drawing on market, client and competitor insights and analytics and aligning channel/ distribution team strategy and investment team business strategies
- Contribute to development of new products - develop ideas and test concepts with clients and internal teams, build business cases for internal approval, design and build products including operating models and pricing (both domestic and offshore structures)
- Identify and execute on product enhancements/ change initiatives
- Along with broader product team, responsible for all aspects of ongoing product management for suite of Multi-asset & Life team funds, including:

- reviewing and approving distributions
- restructuring products and interfunding to simplify and reduce risk
- ensuring investment team changes are implemented correctly from a product perspecive
- updating product specifications and product systems
- verifying offer documents
- setting up agreements between internal and / or external parties
- Identify and manage product rationalisation opportunities

Experience and qualifications required
- 5 + years financial markets product management, development or structuring experience focusing on investment or wealth management
- A demonstrated understanding of technical aspects of products and structures including offshore products
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills - ability to establish close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients and knowledge of key stakeholder domains from front office through to back office (ie tax, legal, ops)
- Results orientated with a strong focus on continuous self-improvement and learning.
- Proven track record identifying and fixing issues and resolving problems
- Commercial acumen and ability to agitate for high quality outcomes
- Ability to collaborate, influence and work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage and successfully contribute to projects and cross functional working groups
