**The roles**:
Due to growth within our Manufacturing area, we currently have four Leadership opportunities within our Stent Manufacturing team. We are seeking
**2 Manufacturing team leaders rostered to our day shift**, and
**2 Manufacturing team leaders rostered to the afternoon shift, **for an immediate start date.

Working within an ISO 8 clean room environment and reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisors, these roles are responsible for providing support and direction to production employees, while allocating appropriate resources to meet business objectives and coordinating efficient and high quality work practices within the department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help manage the day-to-day running of a manufacturing team
- Communicate clear job expectations; plan, monitor and appraise job results
- Identify training and/or development needs within the department
- Assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and changes
- Ensure quality and/or manufacturing problems, corrective actions and non-conformances are reported to the appropriate authority immediately, to be rectified as a matter of priority

Qualifications:

- Ability to lead and motivate staff effectively is essential
- Basic Microsoft Office Proficiency (Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Word) desirable
- First Aid and CPR qualifications (or ability to acquire them) essential
- Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing practices desirable
- Demonstrated competency in manufacturing procedures desirable
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards preferred
- Behave professionally and supportively when working with individuals from a variety of ethnic, social and educational backgrounds
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with mínimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
