We are expanding our AWS team across APJ and are looking for a dynamic AWS Alliance Manager to drive joint go-to-market initiatives, deepen our AWS relationship, and deliver outstanding outcomes for customers and partners.

**The Role**
As the AWS Alliance Manager, you will be the primary point of contact between Rackspace and AWS in the APJ region. Your mission is to build executive relationships, drive strategic collaboration, maximise funding and program opportunities, and accelerate joint customer wins.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Act as the single point of contact for AWS partnership management across APJ.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with AWS field teams, partner development managers (PDMs), and business leaders.
Drive joint planning activities, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and mutual success metrics.
Identify, secure, and manage AWS funding programs (e.g., MAP, OLA, POC funding) for key customer initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Architects, and Marketing to align Rackspace offerings with AWS priorities.
Ensure successful execution of co-selling, co-marketing, and customer acceleration programs.
Track AWS certifications, competencies, and program compliance to maximize Rackspace’s AWS Partner status.
Provide proactive communication to internal stakeholders on AWS opportunities, funding mechanisms, and changes.
**What We're Looking For**
Proven experience managing a strategic alliance, ideally with AWS or a similar hyperscaler (3+ years).
Deep understanding of AWS programs, funding models, and co-sell motions.
Strong relationship management, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills.
Highly organised, with strong project management and execution capabilities.
Ability to work across complex, matrixed environments and with senior stakeholders.
A proactive, growth-oriented mindset passionate about partnerships and customer success.

AWS certifications or experience working within an AWS Partner organisation.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.
3+ years of experience in alliance, channel, or cloud partnership management, preferably with AWS or a hyperscaler.
Strong understanding of AWS funding programs (e.g., MAP, OLA), co-sell models, and APN processes.
Cloud certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner or higher) are preferred.
Project management skills and experience with Salesforce CRM are advantageous.
**Preferred Certifications**:
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
AWS Partner Accreditations (Business and Technical) and AWS Partner Sales Accreditation.
AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification is highly regarded but not mandatory.
