**The Role**
The use of data and information is used to support decision-making across the Defence Health System. The Health Business Intelligence Officer is a newly created role and will be based in Garrison Health headquarters.

This position will be responsible for collecting, collating and displaying complex data and information in various clear and accessible formats for different audiences including, but not limited to, ministerial and royal commission responses, command, and working groups.

They will have the ability to adapt, responding in a flexible and positive manner and display a willingness to learn and expand skillsets and knowledge. The Business Intelligence Officer will have the capability to build and sustain effective and collaborative relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, and have well-developed communication skills both written and verbal.

**About our Team**
Joint Health Command (JHC) is responsible for the delivery of military medicine and healthcare to ADF personnel. The Health Business Intelligence Officer will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team within Garrison Health Branch inside JHC headquarters.

The team is comprised of allied health professionals, medical professionals, and other business and process managers. The team is a mix of remote workers and Canberra-based staff. Garrison Health Branch has a close working relationship with other Branches within JHC, including a team of data scientists.

They will have applied knowledge of data analysis tools, methods and quality assurance to develop visual modelling to support Directorate projects and decision-making, and have the ability to adapt in a high-paced environment with competing demands.
