**Who are we looking for?**
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Executive Assistant to join School of Public Health and Social Work, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.
The AusHSI Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Centre Director. The position works collaboratively with key stakeholders and other Centre staff to deliver exceptional service and support. The Executive Assistant displays strong organisational skills in supporting the Director with time management, diary management, travel organisation and correspondence. Confidentiality, discretion and consistent sound judgement are critical attributes for this role. The AusHSI Executive Assistant will contribute to the Centre’s Professional Support team. As a communication representative to the Centre Director and to the Centre, the appointee will reflect a professional and welcoming approach to staff, students, external partners, and visitors.

**About the Australian Centre for Health Services Innovation (AusHSI)**
The Australian Centre for Health Services Innovation (AusHSI) is a research, advisory and training Centre. Combining leading research knowledge with hands on practical experience, AusHSI partners with hospitals and health service organisations to deliver innovation and improvement for better health services. Composed of internationally leading health economists, statisticians, health service and implementation research experts, AusHSI integrates research findings into policy and practice and helps make changes that result in greater efficiencies and improved patient outcomes.
Based at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, AusHSI currently leads several NHMRC and MRFF grants, completes a range of health service consultancy projects and provides paid expertise and input into a wide range of Queensland and national research activities into the organisation, funding, and delivery of health services.
**What you need to succeed**
You will demonstrate:
1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of an associate diploma in conjunction at least two (2) years relevant experience, preferably within a university research setting.
2. Demonstrated very high level of attention to detail in drafting correspondence, data entry, and document handling.
3. Demonstrated strong organisational skills including the ability to manage time and high volume tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines within the context of competing demands.
4. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to provide confidential executive support and proven ability to collaborate and communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
5. Demonstrated written communication skills, including the ability to draft and edit documents and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy.
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve team based outcomes, and also to work autonomously to set objectives, review priorities and manage workload.
