**About the Project - Upper South Creek**

New greenfield Advanced Water Recycling Centre and associated infrastructure which will provide wastewater services and recycled water for the Aerotropolis, Western Sydney Airport and Southwest Growth Areas.

The project will include the Design, Construction and 10yr Operation of a Wastewater Treatment Plant and an Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will produce:

- High-quality treated water suitable for recycling & environmental flows to an ultimate capacity of 70ML/d
- Biosolids suitable for beneficial reuse
- A new 25km pipeline from the AWRC to Sydney Water’s existing wastewater system to discharge brine.
- A new 16km pipeline from the AWRC to the Nepean River, to release excess treated water.

This project will be one of the most technologically advanced wastewater treatment plants in the Southern Hemisphere.

**About the Role**

This is a key role on one the USC project. As a **Survey Manager**, you will be responsible for leading and managing the survey contractors working on the project. You will ensure the provision of comprehensive surveying services to the project, for all phases from early planning to design and completion. You will manage the survey contractors and provide support in meeting the contractual requirements of the Project.

**Responsibilities of the role include;**
- Work with the project teams to ensure documentation for PC is captured and submitted with in the required time frames. This includes all required as built and cadastral information.
- Check and maintain all legal requirements relating to surveying on the project. Have knowledge and understanding of legislation, systems, procedures, and technology associated with the project surveying
- Manage and coordinate survey contractors to complete surveys and investigations of land surfaces.
- Management of structure, plans, specifications, standards, and implications for project accountabilities
- Utilise survey techniques and modern equipment when appropriate to ensure the tasks are completed in the most cost-effective way.
- Interpret project and technical documentation and monitor compliance with specifications
- Lead, manage and monitor multiple survey contractors at any one time.
- Liaise with engineers and supervisors to ensure there is sufficient survey support planned for and allocated.
- Manage survey contractors to ensure survey resources are utilised efficiently across the various projects.
- Monitoring progress and quality of the survey contractor’s works.

**To be successful in this key role, you must have;**
- Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science, Engineering, Construction or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years in the construction industry, with at least a minimum of 5+ years Management experience.
