John Holland has recently been announced as the preferred partner to deliver the Inland Rail, Illabo to Stockinbingal (I2S) works in NSW.

**About Inland Rail**
Inland Rail is transforming how goods are moved around Australia, connecting Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. This 1,600km fast freight backbone will complete our national freight network - better connecting producers to markets and creating new opportunities for regional businesses, industries and communities.

The Illabo to Stockinbingal project is about 39km of new rail corridor located within the local government areas of Junee and Cootamundra-Gundagai. It will provide a direct route from east of Illabo, tracking north to Stockinbingal and connecting into the existing Forbes rail line.

**What is needed?**
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Cost Planners willing to explore a new opportunity based in Sydney, NSW.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cost plan / estimate project quantities and costs in preparation of major tenders on a timely and cost-effective basis.
- Establish trade cost code / work breakdown budgets.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, briefs, scopes, and standards and assess their impact on project costs.
- Manage subcontractors/suppliers to ensure accurate pricing of quotations as part of the adjudication process.

**Experience**:

- Tertiary or Trade Qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Science, Quantity Surveying and/or Project/Construction Management
- Demonstrated experience within either head contractor or consultancy on infrastructure projects
- Strong measurement skills and exposure to estimating packages
