**Revolutionise rail travel with Siemens Mobility.**

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be the key signalling design technical lead for NSW and NZ, leader of our highly motivated and hardworking signalling team and, as such, will play a strategic role in the success of the organisation by delivering multiple challenging projects in the rail signalling domain.

You will:

- Be experienced in signalling design and have an indepth knowledge & understanding of the technical issues / challenges that occur during the production of signalling design throughout all phases, from concept to detailed to as builts.
- Be the engineering technical interface with key clients, as well as the internal stakeholders such as Project Management, Sales and Tendering in the matrix organisation.
- Manage the NSW based signalling design resources:

- Ensuring appropriate & competent allocation to tenders & projects.
- Providing growth / development / learning / training / mentorship opportunities.
- Providing leadership direction & support both managerial & technical.
- Ensuring compliance to all company process & procedures.
- Communicate and plan with all other functional leads within Engineering to ensure overall team performance is optimised and issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity.
- Positively participate in company events with the aim of achieving a fair, diverse and equitable workplace for all.

- You are an accomplished leader with experience in managing high-performing diverse teams in a pressured environment in the Rail signalling industry.
- You have led and transformed a team of 15+ engineers in an efficient unit to deliver challenging projects as per the customers’ requirements.
