We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced
Project Engineer
to be part of our dynamic team.


About the Role

As a Project Engineer at RIX Ground Engineering, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, technically complex ground engineering solutions.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Interpreting specifications, plans and construction methods
  • Coordinating deliveries, plant, and equipment
  • Aligning site activities with project timelines
  • Managing client/site team correspondence
  • Monitoring actual vs expected ground conditions
  • Reporting changes and maintaining as-built records
  • Overseeing ITPs and construction operations
  • Managing progress claims, variations, and time extensions
  • Monitoring site resources and reporting to management


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
  • Minimum
    2 years' experience
    in a Project or Civil Engineer role
  • Strong onsite experience
  • Proven ability to manage project outcomes and documentation
  • Flexibility to travel across project sites in Australia
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

Must-Haves

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Valid full driver's licence
  • White card
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical & ongoing drug/alcohol testing
