This Government entity is seeking a highly skilled Policy Officer to join our team. If you have a passion for policy development, extensive experience in writing and preparing policy and procedure documentation, and a strategic viewpoint to key organisational matters, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality policy development advice at all levels with limited direction
- Prepare complex reports, analyses, and briefings on policy and procedure issues
- Support policy suite consolidation to ensure high-quality, user-friendly, and consistent documents
- Perform complex document reviews across various topic areas
- Provide skilled advice, direction, and coaching on matters of moderate complexity

Specific Duties:

- Relevant experience within public sector environment and/or HR/workplace relations function desirable
- Ability to translate operational requirements into policy
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
- Ability to work autonomously and with limited direction
- Adapt quickly to organisational and environmental changes
