Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Policy Officer** to support the development of a new electric vehicle strategy.

**About the role**:

- Identify key issues and suggest approaches for incorporation for the departments new electric vehicle strategy
- Develop strategic framework for the electric vehicle strategy
- Collaborate on policies that supports the effective integration of future fuels
- Attend and contribute to key meetings with the team
- Provide stakeholder advice, engagement and management
- Provide advice on other issues related to the electric vehicle strategy

**Ideally you will have**:

- Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement skills
- A current baseline security clearance
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Strong policy coordination/implementation experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to shifting and competing deadlines
