**About us**

Alfred Mental & Addiction Health (AMAH) is responsible for the operation of services, which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.

The single most important goal of AMAH is to create an environment that facilitates clinical recovery, supports individual recovery efforts and strives to minimise service system barriers to the recovery process.

AMAH Workforce Development and Education is a dynamic team of interdisciplinary clinicians providing training and education to Nursing and Allied Health staff working in all areas of psychiatry. We work closely with management and staff to support cultural change and personal development using a collaborative approach.

**What you’ll be doing**

This postion is responsible for the organisation and co-ordination of the Social Work graduate and student program.

In this role, you will be will be responsible for the organisation and provision of a training program that aligns with the Mental Health Workforce Capability Framework and Discipline competencies. You will assist with the organisation and co-ordination of the student program through administration, providing orientation and training and developing resources to assist students and supervisors.

**About you**
- Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Minimum of seven years’ post graduate clinical experience
- Post graduate qualifications or working towards post-graduate qualifications
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Australian working rights
- Full Covid-19 and 2024 Influenza vaccinations
- Current Victorian Driver's License and be willing to undergo a Background Check
