**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, the Investment Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of corporate development activities, ensuring investments are performing in alignment with business case and supporting growth strategies and portfolio optimisation.

Duties include:

- Support the execution of corporate development activities across aspects of the investment process from origination, screening, due diligence, approvals, and management.
- Lead the establishment and continual assessment of portfolio strategy and optimisation.
- Maintain strong relationships with external parties including investment advisors, entrepreneurs, capital funds, etc.
- Undertaking specific projects to support execution of Squadron Energy strategy
- Sourcing investment opportunities and deal origination to support execution of Squadron Energy’s strategy

Supporting the execution of various corporate development by the following activities:

- Create and refine valuation models for acquisitions, divestments, and new business initiatives
- Assist in the planning and execution of due diligence.
- Support negotiation of transaction and associated documentation.
- Assist in transaction project management and administration.
- Support the planning and execution of post-merger integration.

**Qualifications**:
You will hold an undergraduate qualification in commerce, accounting, finance, economics or similar.

You have a postgraduate qualification including Master of Finance or MBA (desirable).

You have over 8 years’ experience in investment banking, inhouse corporate development funds management, project finance or similar.

You have demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions or investments.

You have demonstrated experience in portfolio management and optimisation.

You’re experienced in negotiation and legal documentation.

You have demonstrated strategic and analytic thinking capability.

You can engage stakeholders and work as part of a team.

You’re comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
