The recently announced Department of Education institute focusing on teaching expertise and leadership excellence seeks to elevate the professional development of our teachers and school leaders. This key system initiative will empower educators and leaders to build professional expertise across their career.
An exciting opportunity exists to contribute to this key system initiative within the Teaching & Leadership Capability & Wellbeing team of State Schools - Teaching, Leadership, Rural & Remote Branch.
The Principal Project Officer will report directly to the Manager - Teaching & Leadership Capability & Wellbeing.
About the Role

**The Principal Project Officer plays a key role in**:

- coordinating highly effective and efficient program management and administration processes across the suite of teacher expertise, educational leadership and principal health and wellbeing programs
- leading the establishment and overseeing implementation of streamlined information and data processes, including contributing to a learning management system
- preparing and coordinating correspondence and input to strategic agendas, meeting briefs and responses
- undertaking research, data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making
- coordinating governance and stakeholder meetings and consultations, including through Secretariat support.

- bring expertise in program and/or events management, governance and administration, data and/or learning management systems
- enjoy working with a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact in education.
