Based in a busy town centre, this high-profile government agency is ever growing to provide the support to Australians who need further support. On the back of extra government funding and priority, this agency is looking to expand this team to protect their data integrity. With this in mind, they are looking for a Senior Intelligence officer, with project management experience, to join their team to uplift their capability.

**Your new role**

Identifying security threats is your bread and butter. Working in a dynamic team, you will be empowered to make substantial decisions involving a high level of details to uplift the capability of the team. Developing and delivering solutions and tools that will be used by the team will be within your remit and help grow the teams capability. Along with this, your remit will also include:

- proactively identifying project trends, dependencies and risks to provide advice guidance and options on project matters
- Leading the assessment and management of project risks and drive actions to mitigate them
- Providing artifacts and reports to the senior executives to inform decision making

As you will be engaging and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, well-developed communication skills with the ability to foster professional relationships whilst building rapport and trust is a must.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You'll have a passion for intelligence, counter intelligence and risk. Along with this passion you will have:

- An Understanding of intelligence and risk doctrine and how it is applied
- The ability to produce analysis to better target and prevent threats
- The ability to manage high performing with a wide range of skill sets

To be considered for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and currently hold and able to maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Negative Vetting 1 level or higher.
