A high-profile Federal Government Department Agency is seeking to engage an EL1 Assistant Director of Strategic Human Resources Practitioner.
**Your new role**
This Government agency has recently experienced a significant increase in workloads and new enquiries. As a result, they need an EL1 Human Resources Professional, who is emotionally intelligent and experienced in the Workforce Planning and Learning capability. You will be responsible for leading and managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of HR strategies and policies for Agency. Working as part of the supportive and diverse team, to be successful in this position you will be:
- Developing and implementing Workforce Planning and Learning capability framework
- Leading the design and delivery of human resources programs and services
- Working on building strategic planning
- Providing strategic advice and guidance to senior management on human resources matters
- Identifying workforce trends and recommending changes to improve the effectiveness of the organisation
- Managing and mentoring a team of human resources professionals
- Overseeing the administration of employee benefits and other human resources-related programs
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be eligible for this position you will need to be an Australian Citizen and be willing to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2).
