Area Manager

We are Sparkways (formerly TRY) and as part of a Social Purpose organisation we have a vision to create a meaningful difference in the lives of children. We strive to provide all children with access to high quality Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC).

We are seeking an Area Manager to join our management team and support eight (8) sessional kindergartens in the South Eastern suburbs region, within the LGAs of Kingston and Yarra Ranges. This is a part time, permanent position (22.8 hours per week / 0.6 FTE).

- Education leadership success with Teachers and Educators, sessional kindergarten experience highly regarded
- Nominated Supervisor and Education Leader (sessional kindergarten) experience highly regarded
- Operational management success in the Early Learning sector
- People leadership success
- Business acumen to deliver sustainable results
- Organisation, prioritisation and administration proficiency
- Applied understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning and Development Framework
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum bachelor degree in a relevant field - VIT is not required but highly regarded
