Reads daily manufacturing work orders, customer orders, shipping orders, inter warehouse transfers or requisitions generated by the NOV Australia Inventory System computer to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
- Assembles customer orders from stock either by operation of the Carman32 computers selecting from carousels, or racking locations, determining method of packing as either postbag/parcel, or if larger items, relay to the crate-making area.
- Packs customer spare parts orders and inter-warehouse transfers etc.in a manner that ensures such parts and components are adequately protected from any damage that may arise during transportation.
- Record amounts selected on the NOV Australia Inventory System documentation, and process relevant documents on this computer system.
- Record and print off accompanying documentation on the Transport System Computer and attach such labels and customer delivery dockets to goods.
- Assemble daily manufacturing work orders generated by the NOV Australia Inventory System and delivered to stores by Production Planning personnel, either by operation of the Carman32 computers or racking locations recording amounts selected. Issue components on the NOV Australia Inventory System, and deliver to the relevant manufacturing area.
- Collect finished goods from the manufacturing areas and locate to designated locations as denoted by the NOV Australia Inventory System and Carman32. Ensure all goods are receipted on the NOV Australia Inventory System prior to locating.
- Maintain Proof of Delivery records, and supply such data when required.
- Liaise with transport companies and couriers to arrange pickups and deliveries of outwork, or Special Instructions customer deliveries.
- Liaise with Internal Operations, Marketing, and Manufacturing staff on a needs basis, when assistance is required.
- Ensure data accuracy when performing tasks on the NOV Australia Inventory System, and Carman32 Inventory Management Systems.
- Participate in all company Stocktakes.
- Participate in all team based activities and contribute towards Continuous Improvement processes.
- Participate in any NOV Australia Training relevant to this position.
- Comply to all company policies and procedures
- Adhere to and comply with the organisation's WHS management system requirements.
- Adhere to and play an active role in NOV Australia OHS processes and system
