We have a vacancy for a full time Facility Manager in at our Carrum Downs facility. As the Facility Manager you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of all aspects of the facility. Your role will include maintaining exceptional performance standards, leading your team to success and ensuring every resident feels welcomed, engaged and supported. Focusing on building a quality team with motivated and caring staff, you will ensure you have the right team around you to deliver outstanding care to our residents. In this role the manager is to ensure the facility fosters and maintains a culture of person-centred care, continuous improvement and meets the requirements of accreditation at all times in line with the Aged Care Standards and Code of Conduct and values of the organisation.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Leading your team to provide ongoing professional care and holistic support for residents
- Operational performance of the facility including accreditation, financial budgets, staffing, safety etc.
- Ensure the facility complies with the Aged Care standards
- Consistently maintaining quality and accreditation guidelines
- Ensuring reporting requirements are met
- Safeguarding and maintaining occupancy levels
- Maintaining a happy and homelike environment
- Work closely with your leadership team and frontline staff to ensure a positive, friendly, helpful and engaged culture exists
- Responsible for oversight of all aspects of clinical care provision, direction and performance

**About You**:

- Previous experience running an Aged Care Facility, with a sound understanding of relevant Commonwealth and State legislation as it applies to Aged Care.
- A thorough understanding of continuous improvement, AN-ACC and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders
- Sound competence with computers, specifically MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), clinical management systems and rostering systems
- A leadership style which instils confidence and enables those in your charge to focus on the provision of excellence in the areas of clinical care and customer service.
- Business development, networking, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- A deep empathy and genuine care for aged care residents.
- Budgeting and financial management acumen.
- The ability to put systems and processes in place at every level of a facility.
