Change Manager

**Title: - Change Manager** **Location: - Sydney** **Length of assignment: - 12 month min contract** **Salary: - $1000 inclusive of super** The Change Manager is responsible for supporting the Change and Process Excellence Lead in the design and execution of end-to-end change management activities on variety or projects that may include both technical implementations and behavioural/culture change initiatives. Under the broad direction of the Head of Program and Business Change you will be working across a range of large-scale, strategic projects within the Innovation, Marketing and Technology team in support of achieving sustainable organisational, process and technological change. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES** Contribute to the design and execution of a detailed change strategy and approach as part of the overall project plans on allocated projects. Develop and deliver change management plans (including communications and engagement plan) that maximise employee readiness, adoption and usage while minimising resistance, and execute activities within the plan. Undertake assessment of change impacts including stakeholder impact analysis/ assessments. Conduct business impact assessments to ensure the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures, are managed in line with the framework. Assess business and stakeholder capability to deliver, adopt change and identify where conflicts may arise (working closely with Process Leads, Business Leads and SuperUsers) Develop and implement detailed engagement and communication plans (outlining communications) approach, communication channels, messaging, steps, general timeframes, audience and support) Work alongside the L&D team to conduct training needs assessments for change requests and develop strategies including proposed training modules, formats, timing and target audiences. Monitor success to mitigate change impacts. Work closely with the Senior Change Manager to align deliverables. Management framework and ensure consistency in change management delivery. **Experience** The role requires the following knowledge and experience: Significant demonstrated experience in delivering complex change projects from end to end with organisation wide impacts; Significant demonstrated experience navigating / overcoming resistance to change; Significant demonstrated experience in change impact and assessments, developing, initiating and executing change management plans - including providing guidance and leadership in Communication, Coordination and Analysis; Significant demonstrated experience in structured Program and Project environment such as MSP, Prince2, PMBoK, Agile principles. Experience on a large ERP implementation highly desirable (specifically SAP and Salesforce experience) with some experience on behavioural/culture change projects beneficial **Skills / Competencies** The role requires the following skills and abilities: Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills including the ability to establish positive working relationships with management and key internal and external stakeholders to deliver engagement and communication activities that meet organisational objectives; A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process utilising proven experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools; A proven understanding of training methodologies and instructional design; Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, active listening skills, with the ability to clearly articulate messages and to work effectively with a variety of audiences across all levels of the business; Substantial stakeholder skills to establish and maintain strong relationships, influence, engage and consult with key stakeholders and employees to move toward a common vision or goal; Extensive ability to multi-task and work across differing priorities Ability to develop property industry and technology acumen; Strong understanding of organisational issues and challenges when going through change; A strong understanding of project management and change management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle and the ability to implement these strategies.
