**About the role**:
As Group Executive of Legal and Compliance, you will have extensive knowledge and leadership experience from within the superannuation or finance industries. Your primary responsibility is to effectively formulate, drive and ensure timely, professional execution and delivery of legal advice and the compliance and governance frameworks.
**About you**:
- Proven senior leadership skills that enable you to successfully engage and positively influence your team and the broader business, in line with company values and strategic goals;
- You will have demonstrated experience and expert knowledge of legislative, regulatory obligations and reporting requirements, as set by regulators and government;
- Ability to monitor developments in best of breed compliance management practices and governance;
- Strong ability to Identify and analyse issues and opportunities in a timely and effective manner; and developing appropriate solutions or taking effective action that is consistent with the facts, constraints and probable consequences;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, being capable to negotiate and engage with key stakeholders using sound business judgement and acumen;
- Well versed in managing external legal provider’s relationships at the highest level; and
- A strong client service focus.
