**The Opportunity**:
Come and join our team We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in **Newcastle**

You will be responsible for support a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:

- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal complex care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

**What shifts are we offering?**

Sundays
- 330-530pm

Fridays fortnight - 6 pm - 8 am ( inactive overnight)

Thursdays fortnightly - 730-2 pm

Other shifts available as required based on changing rostering demands.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Induvial Support
- Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
