**About the role**

As a Risk Advisor, you will be supporting Alliance Industry Partners (AIPs’) to achieve function alignment and integration of risk management practices and processes. This position provides the opportunity to develop as the Risk Champion; to identify and establish better practice risk management and implement consistency in the risk management thought and processes at the project and programme level. You’ll engage with stakeholders across the alliance as well as across Babcock Australasia. You’ll have a frontline impact with stakeholders.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Provide support to the Risk and Opportunity Manager in establishing and implementing better practice risk management frameworks.
- Collaborate and question surface practical outcomes for risk assessments, lessons learnt and continuous improvement process reviews.
- Drive results and watch your efforts take shape.

**About you**

**Essential**:

- Risk and opportunity advisory experience within a major capital project or corporate environment.
- Proactive, curious and passionate approach to supporting skill development across the Alliance; and
- Influencing and facilitation skills to enhance the uptake of improvements across multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.

**Desirable**
- Lean Sigma Green Belt (minimum)
- Degree qualified with in a relevant field (Risk Management, Project Management, Quality, Engineering, Construction Management or Business)
- Proven experience influencing and reporting across corporate structures such as joint ventures and subsidiaries; and
- Use your highly skilled communication ability to read the audience and confidently provide collaborative solutions.

**Essential Compliance Requirements**
- Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
