**About the role**
As a result of recent internal promotions, we are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team located in Henderson, WA. Reporting to the Senior HSE Advisor, the successful person will bring their hands-on HSE experience, along with their ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships in order to drive continuous improvement and an understanding and compliance with legislation, contract documents and our processes.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Liaise with and support personnel to ensure understanding of and compliance with HSE requirements;
- Provide support to the workforce in assessing hazards and risks and assist in the development of controls to minimise risk;
- Provide appropriate advice, information, and instruction on HSE matters;
- Assist with the identification and analysis of hazards and liaise with stakeholders to determine the best method for eliminating or reducing risks associated with hazards; and
- Report on and investigate HSE Events in accordance with procedures and monitor implementation of agreed control measures.
**About you**
- Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
- Cert IV Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 and AS 4801
- Knowledge of legislative requirements (Environment and Work Health and Safety )
- Computing Skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance

This position will work within our subsidiary Naval Ship Management (NSM), which provides asset management solutions to the Australian maritime sector. NSM supports assets across the Royal Australian Navy’s fleet - most notably the Anzac Class Frigates as a member of the Warship Asset Management Agreement (WAMA) and the Canberra Class Landing Helicopter Docks (LHD), LHD Landing Craft (LLC) and associated assets as the Asset Class Prime Contractor.
