**Position Description**

McMahon Metal Fabrication is a undergoing a growth phase and is looking for experienced, enthusiastic Trades Assistants to help us meet our customer’s needs.

A vacancy exists for motivated and experienced Metal Trades Assistant to join our team at our Melrose Park workshop at 4 Manfull St.

**Casual Position (possible growth to permanent role)**
- An above award wage offered.
- Dayshift 7.00am to 3.30pm.
- Busy workshop, overtime available.
- Tools and equipment required will be provided.

**Applicants Role**

Duties and Key Responsibilities would involve but is not limited to:

- Experience with hand and power tools, and workshop machines.
- Steel cutting and preparation, post weld cleaning and inspection. Packing finished goods to ship to customer.
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- OH&S awareness an advantage.
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Forklift License is advantageous.
- Drivers license for collecting / dropping off orders.
- A good work ethic and take pride in their work.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Be reliable

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Overtime

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (Essential)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
