Peach is hiring Our cute pink cafe in Blackburn south is looking for passionate barista staff for up to 5 days a week.

We are a small cafe based in quaint neighbourhood, serving gourmet toasties and specialty coffee to our incredible clientele base.

Duties will include:

- Morning set up, including setting up coffee machine, dialing in espresso, preparing batch brew. Also includes setting up pastry cabinet.
- Taking customers orders, running food/coffee, preparing cold drinks such as smoothies, frappes, milkshakes in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and food safe work environment
- Assisting with maintaining stock levels of coffee/milk/cold drinks
- Closing shift at the end of the day, including pack down of coffee machine, pastry cabinet and food cabinet.
- Assisting with ordering stock
- Assisting with roster

Who we are looking for
- Someone who has great attention to detail, has a flair for serving great coffee and serving high quality drinks. Latte art experience preferred
- Has at least 1-2 year previous experience as a barista
- Has a strong work ethic, reliable
- Extensive knowledge of food safety is crucial
- Able to work both alone and in a team under pressure
- Being able to multitask and have excellent time management skills

Must be available at least 1 day on the weekends

Immediate start

Operating hours are 7:30-3 mon-fri, 8-3 weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
