We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee program and inspire our team. As Head Barista, you will set and maintain high standards for coffee quality, customer service, and workflow efficiency. You'll play a key role in training baristas, curating our coffee offering, and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily coffee operations, ensuring consistent quality and speed of service
  • Lead, mentor, and train baristas in coffee preparation, latte art, and customer service standards
  • Maintain coffee machines and coordinating servicing and calibration as required
  • Monitor stock levels, manage ordering of coffee and related supplies, and minimize waste
  • Work with management to develop seasonal menus and specialty coffee offerings
  • Uphold food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues in a professional manner
  • Foster a positive and motivating team environment

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a senior or head barista in a specialty coffee or high-volume café
  • Ability to train, coach, and lead a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and peak service times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Specialty coffee: 1 year (Preferred)
