**About Buller Ski Lifts, your next opportunity**

Buller Ski Lifts (BSL) is the heart of Mt Buller, Victoria’s premier alpine resort. We operate a range of businesses, including Mountain Operations, Hospitality, Ski & Snowboard School, Retail & Rental, and more. During winter, our team grows to over 600 passionate seasonal staff who deliver exceptional guest experiences. As part of our team, volunteers contribute to the warmth and community spirit that make Mt Buller a truly unique destination.

**About the Volunteer Role**

The Guest Experience Department, part of our Mountain Operations team, is central to creating memorable experiences for visitors. This department oversees Snowplay, the Toboggan Parks, and guest information services.

Volunteering with us means contributing to a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for our guests while enjoying the benefits of being part of the Mt Buller community.

Please note this position **does not** offer sponsorship to overseas applicants.

**Key areas where volunteers can make a difference**:

- Helping guests with information to enhance their resort experience.
- Assisting in busy areas, such as lift lines and Toboggan Parks.
- Supporting a positive and welcoming atmosphere on the mountain.

**About the Ideal Volunteer**

**We’d love to have you join us if you**:

- Are passionate about skiing or snowboarding and enjoy being on the slopes.
- Love the outdoors and are energized by the alpine environment.
- Have some local mountain knowledge or previous alpine experience (helpful but not required).
- Have a proactive, approachable attitude with a desire to help others.

**What We’re Looking For**

**To ensure a positive experience for you and our guests, we’re looking for volunteers who**:

- Have a friendly and enthusiastic attitude with a focus on exceptional guest service.
- Are comfortable being outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Enjoy being part of a team and collaborating with others.
- Are physically active and able to navigate uneven mountain terrain.

Volunteers must have availability for at least 12 days over the winter season to participate in the volunteer program. These days can be flexible and agreed upon to suit both you and the program's needs.

**Compliance and Considerations**

At Mt Buller, we ensure our volunteer program is supportive, inclusive, and aligned with Australian volunteering standards. This volunteer role is unpaid, and participation is entirely voluntary.

Volunteers will receive an induction, relevant training, and ongoing support to make their time safe, meaningful, and enjoyable. If successful, volunteers will need to complete a Volunteer Agreement.
