And as its Operations Supervisor your job will be to keep it running smoothly.

An accomplished organiser and people leader, you’ll be supervising all of the college’s essential administration. This of course includes risk and compliance, WHS, HR, IT, property, catering services and more.

Managing the teams that provide top standard back-of-house services such as cleaning and catering also fall within your remit.

To provide the high level, values-based leadership required by this long-established, highly reputed residential university college, you’ll need to be a confident, articulate, well presented professional with appropriate qualifications.

Roundly experienced, you can show previous success in operations management within a medium sized business, ideally within the education or health related environment with young adults. Or perhaps in hospitality or property management? In fact, we’re interested in hearing about any relevant situation where you have been involved in comparable project management, planning, implementation and the delivery of timely outcomes in line with strategic objectives.

You’ll also need to bring a high level of IT literacy, to assist the external providers of IT to the College and the appropriate skills to provide input to the College’s budget and forecast data, as well as the asset register.

But over and above it all, it’s crucial that you understand that everything here at this college is to enhance the university experience for the students and help them to go forward into life.

So, you will need to bring a genuine interest in young people and a belief that education can change the world. Blue card eligibility is a critical criterion.
