Healthdirect Australia is a government-owned, not-for-profit organisation who works with purpose and dedication to help Australians actively manage and improve their health.

Our virtual services are easily accessible via multiple channels, including helplines, video call solutions, apps and websites and cater for Australians at all stages of life, ranging from practical and emotional support during pregnancy through to advice about aged care and helping Australians through the COVID-19 pandemic.

**About the opportunity**

We’re looking for a skilled and talented Instructional Designer to join our team. The role involves:
Program Design:

- Analyse new business initiatives to determine training needs.
- Design onboarding programs and training to improve system proficiency for healthcare professionals.
- Create storyboards, designs, and materials aligned with project objectives.
- Develop capability frameworks for emerging roles and new initiatives.
- Implement evaluation frameworks to assess program success.

Project Support:

- Collaborate with project teams to align training goals.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Lead the end-to-end design and rollout of training programs.

Instructional Design:

- Develop e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and assessments.
- Use LMS and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Vyond (or similar video software), Microsoft Suite) for course creation and delivery.

**What we’re looking for**
- Proven experience in instructional design, particularly in creating engaging learning experiences.
- Strong proficiency in systems (CRM, LMS).
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
- Proficiency in e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software.
- Experience in developing system-based and role-specific training programs.
