**About the role**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and design.
- Develop and manage tasks, issues, and bugs.
- Work with legacy code and third-party integrations.
- Write secure, efficient code using DevSecOps pipelines.
- Review team code and ensure quality.
- Maintain automated testing and security updates.
- Assist in planning and decision-making.

**Requirements and Experience****
- Experience with developing secure, well-tested and quality software solutions using CI/CD technologies, processes and platforms.
- Experience with GitLab (essential), GitHub, Azure DevOps or other DevOps platforms
- Experience with configuring CI/CD pipelines, open-source automation tool such as Ansible for secure software development, release packaging and deployment
- Experience with Redhat linux administration (essential)
- Experience with containers and use in CI/CD pipelines (essential)
- Strong Python development experience (essential)
- Experience with PostgreSQL and database systems (essential)
- Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS for frontends and the ReactJS framework (essential)
- Experience with developing solutions including web server technologies such as Nginx, Django (essential) and Gunicorn (or similar)
- Experience with enterprise networking including network and host firewalls, and load balancers
- Experience working in a team operating under an Agile framework such as Kanban, Scrum or SAFe
- ** Must have current or reinstatable AGSVA Security Clearance**:

- Defence experience highly desirable
