**About the role**

This role is based in Laverton and requires onsite working.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Perform daily health checks, monitoring alerts and logs.
- Manage support tickets, ensuring timely updates and resolutions within SLA.
- Analyse incidents to replicate reported issues, determine root causes, escalating when necessary.
- Execute simple to moderate database queries and data fixes
- Assist in tracking bug fixes to ensure progress aligns with release timelines.
- Maintain helpdesk documentation and stay updated on relevant technologies.
- Adhere to ITIL procedures, ensuring accurate ticket handling and reporting.

**Requirements and Experience**

Technical Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Progress 4GL desirable
- Progress RDBMS desirable
- SQL

Note: if no Progress knowledge, willingness to learn via online training

Other Skills
- Problem analysis and root cause investigation skills
- Works well without needing excessive supervision where normal daily routine applies
- Previous Helpdesk experience highly desirable
- Knowledge if ITIL processes for service, incident and change management
- Ability to speak and write fluently in English.
- Ability to think ahead, plan, prioritise and flag early with management if targets cannot be met

Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 Security clearance, NV2 is preferred.
