**About the Company**:
Join a team of passionate problem solvers as a HR Generalist within a highly regarded Financial Services Firm. With a global presence, this role is based in their Sydney CBD office and will support an established HR team with a fantastic reputation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR Coordinator looking for that next step into a Generalist role. In this role you will receive direct mentorship from an established HR Business Partner & give you exposure across the employee lifecycle, including activities related to recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits and other HR projects and initiatives as required.

**About the Role**:
You will play a pivotal role within the organisation and will be responsible for:

- Providing proactive support as the first point of contact for HR enquiries.
- Assisting with the implementation of HR strategies including recruitment, employee relations, team development and performance management.
- Assisting with performance and compensation reviews during the year-end process as well as talent review and succession planning activities.
- Maintaining associate files and records (using Workday) in line with business and legislative requirements.
- Supporting HRBPs and hiring managers with recruitment and onboarding.
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects to support the HRBP team (associate survey, compensation analysis, writing job descriptions).

**About You**:
To be successful in this role you will bring:

- Previous HR Coordination/ Generalist experience - with an interest in expanding your HR toolkit with a passion to learn & develop.
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
- Be a systems superuser with excellent skills across the Microsoft Suite.
- Strong Influencing and Stakeholder Management Skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- University undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification / equivalent experience is desired.
- Experience with Workday (HRIS) is highly desirable.
