An opportunity exists for a Perioperative Services Manager to join the team at John Fawkner Private Hospital on a full-time basis and take on a leadership position within our perioperative department. Your clinical skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and positive approach to work will ensure your success in this role.

**As a Perioperative Services Manager, your responsibilities will include**:

- Coordination and allocation of staff
- Oversees the day-to-day operations in theatre
- Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and Sterilisation standards
- Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality/Risk management
- Ensure workplace health and safety guidelines and policies are met
- Manage Budgets and attainment of budgetary targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintaining effective relationship with major stakeholders
- Ensure Theatre is run ethically and complies with policies, procedures and all legal requirements

**Essential Criteria**:

- Authority to Work in Australia
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Perioperative Nursing, Business and/or Management (or working towards)
- Minimum of 5 years senior nursing experience within the Perioperative unit
- High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Working with children check
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
