An excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated Senior Manager to lead the Perioperative Services Department at a private hospital on the Mornington Peninsula. It is a permanent Full-Time role.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the Perioperative Services Manager, you will lead the perioperative nursing, sterilisation and technician teams and work closely with the Executive Team to shape organisational strategy, enhance procedural service provision, and achieve departmental and hospital strategic objectives.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Extensive current clinical practice in perioperative role (minimum 5 years);
- Recent theatre management experience;
- Ability to build rapport with VMOs and staff;
- Commitment to improvement and excellence in the delivery of outcomes;
- WHS responsibility and leadership in risk minimisation;
- Ongoing activity analysis;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources and experience in implementing sustainable change;
- Graduate Certification/Diploma in Perioperative Nursing is desirable;
- A Master's in Business Management / Health Administration is desirable;

**ABOUT THE FACILITY**

The hospital, located on the Mornington Peninsula, is a modern and well-equipped 60-bed facility offering a comprehensive range of surgical and medical services. The hospital has three operating theatres, a procedure room, a day surgery unit and a high-dependency unit. The surgical specialties include orthopaedic, plastic and reconstructive, Ear, nose & throat, general, urology and endoscopy.
